Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic HR Officer to join our expanding team at our Head Office in Petite Rivere.
Job purpose and main objectives
- HR Coordination has the objective to ensure that all HR Metrics & Administration is properly implemented and executed in line with applicable legal requirements, MTI rules, regulations and policies and ISO documented procedures or instructions from reporting lines. This will include management of all documentation via the employee life cycle. This post will assist the external HR consultant in all dimensions of human resources
- CSR Coordination has the objective to ensure that important company Social & Ethics work is carried out effectively by championing and developing the ethical, environmentally friendly, and community-minded side of our business. Recording and filing of all activities whilst creating important links between all stakeholders and raising positive awareness of the organizations commitment to sustainable social responsibility
HR related responsibilities :
- Assist HR consultant concerning recruitment and selection demand Ø
- To develop and draft JD as per requirement and ensure that same is posted on the right sourcing medium
- To coordinate with concern stakeholders concerning interviews
- Keeps all data regarding recruitment and selections actions
- Assist in interviews and to record same
- Ensure that proper approval is obtained before finalizing any job offer
- Communicate job offer to candidates and ensure follow up on same
- Consistently report of workforce planning with HR
- Consultant and HOD
Training and Development:
- Project management for all training initiative
- Ensure that all procedures with regards to MQA/HRDC and other concern institution are respected
- Follow up for all HRDC claim and to be accountable to achieve 100% refund
- Develop training plan and content with HOD
Employee benefits /recognition:
- Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems, recognition
HR Administration:
- Ensure all employees files are created and updated as and when required
- Follow established guidelines with regards to employee file management system
- Accountable for all documentation in relation with employee life cycle and timeframe for issuing concern document is respected timeframe
Reporting /Records Management and HR Metrics:
- Assist HR consultant in the preparation of all HR metrics on a monthly basis
- Proper recording and documentation on all HR dimension
HR areas of concern :
Liaise with HR consultant for
- Exit interview
- Disciplinary concerns
- Employee complaint
Employee welfare & health & safety concerns :
- Be present on Health & Safety committee and Employee welfare committee and bring to MD/HR consultant attention any issues related to employee welfare and health & safety
- Follow on the provision of uniforms & PPEs to employees
- Assist in orgnaisation of training, health awareness & other events /recreational programs for employees
CSR related responsibilities:
Administration
Social & Ethics Committee administrator
- Effective filing system for CSR documentation
- CSR documents preparation
- Keep an updated stakeholders register on the company database
- Collection & distribution of CSR activities
- Managing and booking all CSR activities
- Filing and distributing of CSR meeting minutes &follow up on action points
- Assist in organizing CSR events for employees and their teams
Job Profile:

Field of Study | Mix of business and human resource management experience |
